SERVPRO Honors Athletic Hall of Fame Inductees

SERVPRO Muskogee/McIntosh Counties & Tahlequah will support the Tahlequah Athletics Hall of Fame this weekend at their annual banquet as a participating sponsor.
Having their own member from All-State Championship team on their sales and marketing team is, Sales and Marketing Representative, Duel Smith, a first baseman from the Tiger’s 1996 State Championship team and graduate of THS. the event is in honor of Duel’s former baseball coach, Herb Dallis, with whom he won the state title.
“I am glad to attend this event in honor of Coach Dallis, celebrating his accomplishments, and to congratulate him,” Duel said. “Its nice to share this with my team at SERVPRO.”
A 1960 THS graduate, and two-sport letterman himself, Dallis played on their 1958 state runner-up baseball team. Leading his 1996 team to a state championship, Dallis was an All-State coach selection that same year. His career includes coaching at NCAA Division 1’s, Oral Roberts University as head baseball coach from 1970-1976. Other inductees for 2017 to the Hall of Fame are Carl Scott, Brian Gosnell, Ron Cox, Harvey Chaffin, and John Rahe Jr.
“This is our opportunity to get the community and businesses back on campus to show what we are accomplishing,” Tahlequah Athletic Director Matt Cloud said in a written statement to the Tahlequah Daily Press.
“We are proud to support our in-house team and all of their accomplishments whether past or present,” Operations Manager, Jordan Kelley said. “SERVPRO Muskogee/McIntosh & Tahlequah is a proud supporter of the successes within our all of our communities.”
